Welcome to Ashgate Primary School
Our site is being updated at present, please check back soon 24\02\2015
our staff, pupils, parents and governors I would like to welcome you and your family to our school. I hope that the time you spend with us will be both rewarding and enjoyable. We want your children to be confident, happy and secure at Ashgate.
Our aim here is that everyone learns in an environment where we all respect each other. We aim to foster a love of learning for all, showing the children that we are all lifelong learners. It’s important that in our ever changing society we prepare our children to be independent learners, responsible citizens and confident individuals. We believe that here at Ashgate every child matters and we strive daily for them to reach their potential throughout all areas of school life. An excellent education is achieved by good quality relationships and it is the development of quality relationships that underlines all our work.
We believe that parents should be involved fully in the life of the school and the education of your children. We hold several events throughout the year for parents to attend to support the children’s learning. We aim to keep parents fully involved both through our monthly newsletter and our texting service. Strong parental support is key to promoting good learning.
As part of our links with parents, we have designed this website to provide you with as much information about the school as possible. This cannot, however, take the place of visiting the school and talking through individual queries or concerns. Please do not hesitate to visit the school and we will do our best to help you.
We try to keep this website as up to date as we can. We do our best, but often there are certain things that have to change at short notice. We will always let parents know about any changes through our monthly newsletter.
Once again, welcome to Ashgate Primary! We look forward to working with you and your family.
