The R.E.S.P.E.C.T Agenda helps to promote key ‘British Values’ in a manner that is accessible by all and provides concrete actions and expectations that underpin them.

It is a bespoke system that aims to address the need to promote key values in a user friendly, consistent and age appropriate way.  It promotes actions that will raise the capacity of the child to question and resist negative influences, ranging from basic everyday challenges to more extreme and radical viewpoints.

Furthermore it ensures that not only are pupils who consistently behave and work well rewarded, but a culture is created in which it is seen as ‘worthwhile’ to be good and the good ‘learning behaviors’ are recognized.  It seeks to support the pupils that can be ‘missed’ or ‘taken for granted’ as their social and learning behaviours are never raised as a concern.

It is worth noting that the R.E.S.P.E.C.T Agenda benefits all, in any circumstances, all catchments, regardless of stages in development.  For some it will be a starting block, for others a refinement.  Its principles are universal.
