MANY CHOCOLATE SPREADS CONTAIN HAZELNUTS – THIS MAY NOT BE OBVIOUS ON THE CONTAINER
The school does have pupils with serious allergies THAT ARE LIFE THREATENING. Pupils at particular risk are those with nut allergies, and in our case we do have pupils that require epipens for extreme anaphylactic reaction to nuts.
As a result I must enforce the following rulings:
Staff will confiscate items they believe are a nut risk.
Our primary concern in school is the safeguarding of pupils and I must insist that for the safety of others, this ruling is adhered to. Remember, items believed to contain nut products will be confiscated. I thank you on behalf of those pupils affected
