Ashgate Primary School is a 'state funded school' and falls under the provision of Derby City Council. All admissions to the school are controlled by the Derby City Council Admissions Team. The school cannot agree to admit pupils by any other means and does not maintain a 'waiting list' system.
The school is currently over subscribed in Early Years (EYFS Reception), however places may be available in other year groups. Advice and guidance on availability of spaces can be obtained via the admissions team (see link above).
Should you wish to visit us to view the school, please contact the office and we will do all we can to accommodate your needs. Visits are normally conducted by the School Business Manager, Mrs N Warburton and include a tour of the school and an opportunity to meet the Headteacher.

Admissions to Reception
The following is compulsory for all EYFS admissions before the child starts school:

All those entering the UK as EEA residents and wishing to apply for a place at the school must apply via Derby City Council Admissions Team.

The school retains the right to consult the relevant authorities if it is not satisfied that the admissions arrangements have been fully met. Where this is the case, this may result in a delay or refusal to admit by the headteacher.
