Collage and Construction
Make a collage. Cut and stick colouful pieces of paper to make a picture. You could make it look like a person or a place or an animal or it could be abstract (not look like anything). If you don't have coloured paper, you could cut up magazines, newspapers, chocolate wrappers, crisp packets and other food wrappers (make sure they're clean).
Build something out of lego.
Make a junk model of a place you'd like to visit or an animal or a robot using things like cardboard boxes and tubes, plastic bottles and pots, foil and lollipop sticks. Make sure things are clean before you use them and ask an adult to check there are no sharp parts.
Make a collage using things collected from your garden on or on your daily exercise walk.
Make playdough - no cooking involved but ask an adult to help with the boiling water.
Mix together 200g of plain flour, 140g of salt, 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar and 1 tablespoon of oil. Add 240ml of boiling water (with a few drops of food colouring in if you wish) and stir it well.
