SCHOOL CLOSED FRIDAY 17th (Conkers trip still on)

SCHOOL CLOSED

 

Following a fire alarm test yesterday after school, a fault has occurred resulting in the alarm continuing to sound and site security remains compromised.

 

School is therefore closed today (Friday 17th) until further notice.

 

IMPORTANT:  Year 3/4 trip to Conkers is still on!  Please meet on the playground a usual.

 

  • Engineers have been on-site/seeking to rectify the issue throughout the night/morning with no success.  For the safety of children, I have no option but to close the school as it is not fit or safe for use at this time.
  • Although there may be an option to have limited opening later in the day, parents should assume there will be a full-day closure.
  • As the closure is the decision of the school, pupil attendance records will not be affected.

 

Apologies for this inconvenience.  Please be assured that all that can be done has been and continues to be done to resolve this issue.
