We've been talking PANTS in school recently.
NSPCC PANTS that is. PANTS is a national campaign for children to protect them from the risks of sexual abuse and sexual exploitation. PANTS is a clear and simple strategy for supporting children to understand what is safe, what is not safe and what they should do if they are worried or want to talk about something.
PANTS is an acronym to help children remember the risks and steps, but on a simple level, aims to remind children that what is in their own PANTS is private.
The link below gives a guide for parents as to how they can support their children at home, and more support is available on the school website under >Key Information >Safeguarding.
