Dear parents and carers
You may be aware that today the Secretary of State for Education has stated that all schools are required to share the curriculum materials relating to Relationships and Sex Education.
At Ashgate Primary School, we already provide the policy and curriculum materials on our school website under ‘Curriculum’ for content and ‘Documents and Policies’ for the governor-approved policy.
Our curriculum provision for Relationships and Sex Education is that issued by Derbyshire County Council: ‘PSHE Matters’

Dear parents and carers
I am pleased to announce that following a rigorous recruitment process the school has appointed Miss S Kaur as class teacher in Year 1/2. She is the permanent replacement for Mrs Sahota who departed from school at the start of the academic year.
Miss Kaur will be an excellent addition to what is already a strong Key Stage 1 team and I am sure you will take the opportunity to welcome her to the school community.
It goes without saying that the school thanks Miss Dineley for stepping in temporarily during the recruitment process.
