  • Football Achievements for The Girls Team

Fri 27 Mar 2015 Mr Odell
    Sport

Ashgate took part in the recent Derby County Ladies FC football tournaments held at the Power League Soccerdome in Pride Park. One Year 3&4 team and two Year 5&6 teams represented the school. Although we didn't add to our trophy cabinet this time, all the girls played well and enjoyed representing the school.

Also, the Year 5&6 girls played in a football festival at the University of Derby on 26th March achieving 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat. A very good effort from all the players.
  • Cycle Security Marking - Friday 20th March

Mon 16 Mar 2015 Mr Seargent

FREE - Cycle Security Marking –

    Derbyshire Police

This Friday at Ashgate Primary School – 8:15 am onwards.

As stated in earlier notices, PCSO Harper will be visiting the school this Friday to mark cycles for security.

An increase in cycling as a whole across the UK has led to a surge in cycle thefts.  Marking your cycle helps to reduce the risk of it being stolen and increases the likelihood that it will be returned to you if stolen.

I want my child’s bicycle marked

If you wish for your child’s bicycle to be security marked, please bring it to school from 8:15am – 8:45am.  Those bicycles not marked in that time, can be left at school for marking, and collected at the end of the school day.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
