Well done to Eleanor in Year 6 who has become our first Accelerated Reader 'Millionaire'! An amazing achievement indeed.
The success of Accelerated Reader has been amazing, as we see pupils engagement in reading increase at a rapid rate of knots. It has been such a delight to see pupils desperate to get into the school library to access our wide range on texts, as well as see children taking their books out at playtime to read!
Since the programme was introduced earlier in the Autumn Term, 2,188 books have been read by our junior children, resulting in a new word count of 13,551,505 words read. Wonderful!
I would like to thank all of the parents and staff who have engaged in this programme with such enthusiasm, as well as the children who are clearly going from strength to strength.

These pages have been added to share information and allow the children to make contributions to the school website.
At the moment, the blog system is in construction mode, but the children will be able to access the blog soon!. In the meantime, please have a look at the blogging site to see how you can access up to date information.
