  • 'Egg'citing times in EYFS

Tue 16 Jun 2015 Mr Seargent

You may be aware that in EYFS, children are currently studying animals, and in particular 'life cycles'.

Part of the work involves children incubating chick eggs, so that they can watch them hatch.  I am delighted to announce that our chicks are starting to hatch, much to the delight of children and staff.

  • Climbing Wall is big hit with Year 5 and 6

Fri 05 Jun 2015 Mr Seargent

Friday saw the arrival of the Darley Barn Climbing Wall.  Year 5 and 6 pupils were given the opportunity to tackle the wall and push themselves physically and mentally.

The day was a big success and it was commented by the team leading the event that the children were exceptionally well behaved, good mannered and gave it their all.

Well done to all of the children and our thanks to Ady Green and his team at Darley Barn for supporting the children during the day.
